I chose this hotel for attending a corporate retreat and it was a great choice. The Local Riverside provided all the necessary facilities for a successful business trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient. it was a pleasant experience.
The only thing that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center. It would have been helpful to have a space where I could work and have access to necessary office equipment.

Always return to my favorite spot in Phnom Penh. Remember when the staff kindly guided me. Has all I need: Wi-Fi, AC, TV, breakfast. Perfect for my upcoming trip back.

Fantastic staff. Really friendly and helpful, much appreciated by a lone traveller. The bathroom is particularly well designed with a proper bath and excellent water pressure in the shower and good lighting. None of that blinding flourescent tube lighting that sends to be favored by many places in cambodia. Very comfortable bed too and a nice quiet room at the back of the building. The free breakfast was as good as many that I have paid 4 dollars for in other places which makes the rooms good value for money. I recommend this place.

We liked the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast! =)
We didn't like the cleanliness of the room... The bedsheets were really dirty, actually with hair on places you don't want to find short and curlies.... So the hairs weren't from the housekeeper. And the towels were stained and also the floors were dirty.. The rooms are perfect for a good night sleep if you are the only one on the floor. So the first night we slept very well, no windows, so the room was really quite for that night. But the next night another couple checked in (at night..) next door and you could hear them brush their teeth!!! We didn't mind because we thought they're going to sleep asap as well, but no, they went exploring the room. The 2 rooms normally was 1 room, so they closed the doorway with wood. In the room of the couple was the (used to be) door. So what happened? They opened (So not locked..) that door and looked into our room through the holes in the wood! So not private and not comfortable at all!! So we didn't mind that they were full for the next night, so we went exploring other hotels/guesthouses. And trust me, one street further, for half the price (!!!) there were so many guesthouses, much cleaner and nicer, so take that advice. ;)

Our room was beautiful- from the balcony you have awesome street and river views- tables and chairs. The rooms are equipped with everything you could possibly need including fridge, tv with dvd player (good for the kids to watch cartoons which you can rent from downstairs) king size bed and free of charge they put in a single mattress for our son to sleep on. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and a bathtub... We're heading off to Siem Reap and have already re-booked to stay here again next month. Highly recommend and the staff are wonderful!!! Breakfast is also great... All the food is well priced with massive portions. Favourite place so far in Cambodia!!!

Very good location close to the river and many bars and restaurants around. The staff was generally very friendly.
Room completely overpriced for what is offered. Travelled already 4 weeks in sea and this was the lowest quality room and 50% more expensive than at other hotels I stayed in. One staff member was too pushy trying to sell me bus tickets and when asking for a boat ticket he told me that there was no boat because of low water. Actually there were floods and boats were of course operating. But have to say the bus ticket he sold me was what he promised.

Good location, only a short walk to the river side and central to other sights. Simple breakfast offered. Funky bathroom.
Room was small with no window and badly fitted room door which could be easily seen through.

Great value for money. the balcony was a nice touch, perfect for sipping coffee. Being able to come and go as we pleased was convenient, and the staff were always available to let us in or out late at night. the owner was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for places to visit.
The lack of ventilation in the room was a bit inconvenient, with only air conditioning and a ceiling fan available. the trek up to the penthouse was a bit challenging without a lift.
